You can open BEAM’s Settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner of the interface. Here you can adjust the following:
Check For Updates - By default, BEAM will check for updates every 7 days
Show Tooltips - Enable or disable tooltips when hovering over controls
Graphics Quality - The graphics quality will adjust the pixel resolution of the 3D scene, which adapts to your computer's performance in Medium and always maxes out your display resolution in High. There will be no visible difference between High and Medium settings on a capable graphics card. Lower graphics settings will also adjust details like the maximum particle count in the grains node and the polygon count of the stream.
Scrolling On Effects - By default, you can change the mix of the space and grains node, and frequency of the filter node, by scrolling when hovering over a specific node. You can also shift-drag to adjust the value.
Knob Scroll Direction - Turn on to Up or Down to use the scroll wheel on your mouse to move knobs up or down respectively.
Window Size - Set the window size to a preset value of 80%, 100%, or 120%. You can also click and drag the corner of the window to resize the window to a custom value.
